Borobudur In Action!!!

I wanna tell you about my trip in Jogjakarta, especially in Borobudur Temple. I hope you'll enjoy it.. Happy Reading...  😁😃😀

Borobudur In Action

At wednesday night, 5^th October 2016, I joined study tour to Jogjakarta. This trip was not just about holiday, but I had a mission on there, it was I have to make conversation with tourists who visited Borobudur Temple.

Some of teachers followed too. They Ire Mr. Mujib, Mr. Mukhlas, Mr. Nurul, Mr. Ma’ruf, Mr. Masnun, Mr. Iful, Mr. Masykur, Mr. Fuadi, Mr. Hartono, Mrs. Evi, Mrs. Ratna, Mrs. Izzah, and Ms. Ziyah.

Before I got in the bus, Mr. Mujib as The Headmaster gave us advises, and Mr. Masnun led us to prayed together, in order to I safe in this trip to Jogjakarta. After that, I got in the bus.

In the bus, a lot of students played their phone, and the teacher played VCD in the bus, and played dangdut music, so, a lot of students sang the dangdut music, and most of students slept, because I have to wake up early in the next morning.

At 04.00 a.m, I finally arrived at “Gunung Pring”. I prayed shubuh together, and then I took a bath, most of students waited so long for took a bath, because the bathrooms Ire full, and I have to pay Rp2.000 for took a bath. After that, the teachers gave us LPP’s jacket. And then, I got breakfast, I bought foods at “Warung Nasi Rames” and I ate in there. After that, I took photos for memories.

Before I went to Borobudur Temple, I went to the grave of “Mbah Dahlar” and I prayed together in there. The way to the grave was not easy, I have to pass many ladders, I was tired, but I didn’t give up, and finally I arrived at Mbah Dahlar’s grave, Mr. Masnun and Mr. Ma’ruf led me to prayed together.

After I prayed together, I drank the water from there. The water was so cold, and made me spirit and fresh again to continued our mission at Borobudur Temple. When I went down from there, there were many kiosks beside the ladder. But I didn’t buy anything, because I must go to Borobudur Temple soon.

 At 08.30 a.m. I went to Borobudur Temple. On the trip, I saw many sceneries, such as : Mountains, Hills, Rice-field, Mendut Temple, and I saw some tourists too, it made me enthusiastic for our mission. And then, at 08.45 a.m. finally I arrived at Borobudur Temple. Before I went to on the top of Borobudur Temple, Mr. Nurul gave us suggestions how to began conversation with the tourists, and he said to us, “At 09.00 am, hunting tourist will be begun, you had 3 hours for hunting the tourists. So, at 12.00 p.m. you have to comeback. You have to get minimal 5 tourists. And remember, you must keep your attitude. ”

After that, I took photos together for memories. It was so fun and made us happy and spirit. When Mr. Fuadi took photos of us, I saw a foreign man came in and he took our photo by his camera, he also smiled to us, so I felt happy and made me enthusiastic. After that, The teachers bought the tickets for us, and I practiced for a moment before hunting tourists was begun. And then, teachers gave us tickets one by one. When I walked to Borobudur Temple, I felt so nervous.

I must pass many ladders again for arrived at The Temple. When I turn around the temple, I found a foreign man, so I asked him for interviewed, but he answered by another language that I didn’t know. And a guide told to us if the man couldn’t speak English, and he just could France language. I felt dissappointed, but suddenly the man asked us to took photos together, I was so surprised, then I took photos together with him. Although I couldn’t interview with him, but I felt happy because he was so friendly and he wanted to took photos with us.

After that, I turned around the temple again. And finally, I found any tourists that I succeed to interviewed. There were 5 tourist that I have interviewed. They were so friendly.

After I made conversation with tourists, I have to presentation in front of my teachers and my friends. At the first, I was confused and panicky, because a teacher said to me that I will do presentation first, maybe because my group was the first group. A teacher also said to my group that I have to memorize our result of conversation with tourist quickly, so I felt so panicky, but I tried to calm and memorized it. And then, I did presentation, and finally our assignment & mission Ire finished, and I felt so roomy. After all of group did presentation, I took photos together with our teachers and all of LPP’s students, we were so happy.

After that, we went down from the temple and came back to the bus to continued our trip. We passed many kiosk beside the way of back to the bus. Actually we wanted to bought accessories in there, but the Teacher said that we must came back hurriedly. After we entered in the bus, Mr. Fuadi called all of us for absent. And then we went to the next place, Sandi Restaurant. In the way, we all so tired, there were also some students who slept for a moment. It wasn’t long time to arrived in that Restaurant, we had lunch in there, and we also prayed Dhuhur and 'Ashar.

 Then we continued our trip, we went to Java Shop to bought Bakpia and another snacks. And after that, finally we went to Malioboro, The biggest and famous market in Jogjakarta. The Teacher gave us 2 hours for shopping, from 4.00 p.m. until 6.00 p.m. We bought t-shirt, batik clothes, bag, accessories, sandals/slippers, and etc. There are students and some Teachers who are taken photo in front of Malioboro Market for memories. We were also hurriedly to bought something in there,  After that, we came back to home.

In the way of our trip, one of our friends was sick, suddenly he was unconsious. We all felt panicky and sad. We stopped in one of Jogjakarta’s hospital. While we waited him, we decided to prayed Maghrib and Isya’ together in the mosque of hospital, we also took a rest for a moment in there. After that, we continued went to home. We were very tired, so we all slept along night in the bus. It was tired day for us, but we felt so happy and we enjoyed it. It was our great experience. J

In the next morning, we prayed shubuh in the mosque of Lamongan. One of our bus was broke, so the students in that bus must moved to the other bus. At 07.00 a.m. finally we arrived at Sidayu, and we went at our home. We will not forget that our best experience. Especially, that was our first experience to speak English with some tourists who have English language.

Quote from me : If you want to speak English well, don’t be afraid about the mistakes when you speak English, just say a simple words, it’s better than not at all. Actually, speaking English is so easy, but sometimes we are shy to do it, so don’t be shy too. And of course, always practice and study, especially about tenses, always add your vocabularies, and always remember this motto : Practice makes perfect.
